Jean-Michel Germa founded La Compagnie du Vent and was a pioneer in the French wind turbine industry. He recently sold his business to ENGIE and is now focusing on the decarbonisation of shipping.
Jean-Michel invests in various energy and marine sectors via his investment fund SOPER; these include electricity storage, biofuels, hydrogen, and solar energy.

As a doctor in Plant Biology, Françoise Brenckmann worked in research and then with associations.
She has travelled extensively with her husband, Jean-Marie Hullot, sparking their commitment to protect “the fragile beauty of the world.”
Together, they created the IRIS foundation, which supports programmes in favour of Biodiversity and natural sites.
In this spirit, Françoise brings her support to Zéphyr & Borée in its efforts to decarbonise the shipping industry.

Francis Vallat is a pillar of the French shipping industry.
After a long career as a shipowner, he founded and chairs the Cluster Maritime Français.
He is a man of ethics and convictions, putting extensive time in for humanitarian causes with SOS Méditerranée and for environmental causes with the 7ème Continent association, which he currently chairs.
Today, Francis is a leading consultant on the maritime sector to French politicians.
