The ship Canop\u00e9e<\/strong> was voted Ship of the year<\/strong> (“ship of the year”<\/em>) at the Maritime Awards Gala<\/a><\/em><\/span> in Rotterdam.<\/p>

The gala is a celebration of Dutch shipping and features 5 awards:<\/p>

The “Maritime Security Award”<\/em><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

The “Ship of the year”<\/em> formerly known as “Maritime Award KNVTS Ship of the Year”<\/em><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

The Ship of the Year award recognizes the innovative strength<\/strong> of the Dutch maritime sector in navigation equipment, and integrates all aspects of the other awards.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

The assessment focuses on the extent to which design, technology, safety, construction and economic importance come together in an innovative vessel: the pinnacle of the Dutch maritime sector.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

The Dutch shipyard Neptune Marine<\/a><\/span> was awarded the prize in 2023 for the Canop\u00e9e.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

It’s also a great reward for all the teams who worked on the project (Aliz\u00e9s, the joint venture between Z\u00e9phyr & Bor\u00e9e and Jifmar Offshore Services, AYRO, Groot Ship Design, VPLP Design…). It’s a sign that shipping is ready to welcome the wind back into its propulsion systems.<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
