Zéphyr & Borée wins France 2030 award

Zéphyr & Borée has won the France 2030 award for Williwaw, a hybrid sail-powered industrial container ship.

The shipping line is one of the first 11 Morbihan-based prizewinners supported by the France 2030 plan, thanks to its innovative Williwaw (formerly Mervent) project, a container ship with hybrid (diesel / methanol) mechanical and cyclic propulsion.

France 2030 is an investment plan designed to enable France to develop its industrial competitiveness and the technologies of the future, as well as to support decarbonization initiatives in a context of global competition for innovation and climate emergency.
